Guardianship

When a family member is no longer able to make important decisions for themselves, we can help.

If a loved one is no longer to care for themselves and needs assistance managing their affairs and their medical decisions, I can help.  If a parent is no longer able to provide care for their child, and you are seeking guardianship of a child, I can help.  In Arkansas, a natural person is qualified to be appointed guardian of the person and the estate of an incapacitated person if he or she is:

(A) a resident of this state;

(B) at least eighteen

(18) years of age

(C) of sound mind

and (D) Not a convicted or unpardoned felon; or a convicted and unpardoned felon who has disclosed their prior felony conviction and is otherwise qualified in the eyes of the court.
